- Scope and Content
- Item consists of Rabbi Monson's segment. He thanks for donations to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center and announces the upcoming Workmen's Circle Social Club's Hanukkah party, at which he will be a guest speaker. He also announces an upcoming night at the theatre sponsored by Shaare Zedek Women's Division. Finally, he discusses the recent killing of Israeli soldiers in Kiryat Shmona and the ensuing gunfight at a nearby military base, perpetrated by a man of Arab origin, who was subsequently killed. He calls for donations to Israeli organizations and for tourism to Israel, claiming that it is the obligation of every Jew to ensure the survival of Israel.
