- Scope and Content
- Item consists of a Spotlight On Science recording, presented by Zelda Young and David Andrews. Andrews talks about a new research conducted at the Weizmann Institute of Science that investigates how the carp is able to repair a severed nerve cell, being the only animal able to do so. According to him, researchers hope to be able to apply this mechanism to humans and help patients with impaired mobility due to nerve damage. He also hightlights the importance of the close connections and collaboration between departments at Weizmann.
