- Scope and Content
- Item consists of a recording of Aliyah Corner. David Bale interviews Shaul Lander, Associate Director of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS). Lander talks about the organization's one-year program in Arad, which consists of six months of studies (including Jewish studies, intensive Hebrew, extracurricular activities, and three-weeks volunteering at a moshav or kibbutz) and six months of employment. According to him, the idea is to show young people that Israel is a liveable place, and 40% of students end up staying in the country.

- Physical Condition
- Tape is in good condition. Audio quality is good. There are two different tape stocks spliced together, the first one not coated, the second coated -- splice is safe, final seconds of recording on second stock. No signs of mold or SBS.
