- Rabbi Eli M. Bleiberg was likely from Ostrowiec, Poland. He probably immigrated to the United States prior to the Second World War. In the mid-1940s, he served as a rabbi at the Beth Yehudah Center in Bronx, New York. He was actively involved with the Ostrovtzer societies in North America, frequently forwarding letters and sending money to Ostrowtzers in Europe and Palestine.

- Item is a letter from Rabbi Eli M. Bleiberg to Israel Appel, dated 17 June 1947.
