- The Ostrovtzer Friendship Association was established in 1932 by Mr. and Mrs. S. Mitz and Mr. & Mrs. S. Stasofsky. Operating out of Detroit, Michigan, the association collaborated with other Ostrovtzer organizations to provide support and aid to the Ostrovtzer community. Delegates from the association participated in the conference of Ostrovtzer societies in Toronto.
