- Aaron Steinhart was from Ostrowiec, Poland, and lived in Los Angeles, California, in the mid-1940s. He served as the financial secretary of the Ostrowtzer Relief Committee in Los Angeles in 1946 and subsequently assumed the role of president in 1947. Aron attended the conference of Ostrowtzer societies in September 1946 as a delegate.

- Scope and Content
- File consists of a letter from Aaron Steinhart, financial secretary of the Ostrovtzer Relief Committee Los Angeles, to I. Zispal and the Ostrovtzer Aid Association, Toronto, dated 24 March 1946. In this leter, Aaron expresses frustration on behalf of the Los Angeles committee regarding the lack of communication and coordination with the Toronto committee. He expresses disappointment that the Los Angeles committee was not informed about a delegate from Canada who visited Ostrowiec. He emphasizes the importance of coordinated efforts and requests more communication from the Toronto committee. File also contains a typed translation.
