- Aaron Steinhart was from Ostrowiec, Poland, and lived in Los Angeles, California, in the mid-1940s. He served as the financial secretary of the Ostrowtzer Relief Committee in Los Angeles in 1946 and subsequently assumed the role of president in 1947. Aaron attended the conference of Ostrowtzer societies in September 1946 as a delegate.

- File consists of a letter from Aaron Steinhart, financial secretary of the Ostrovtzer Relief Committee Los Angeles, to Max Hartstone and the United Ostrovtzer Relief Committee, dated 14 May 1946. In this letter, Aaron expresses concern about postponing the conference, citing concerns about potential logistical issues. He emphasizes the importance of holding the conference on the orignal date in July and asks Max to confirm that the conference will proceed as scheduled. Envelope is included. File also contains a typed translation.
