- Lola Alexandrowicz was born circa 1929 in Ostrowiec, Poland. Her father’s name was Hershl, and her siblings were Edria and Yankel. In the mid-1940s she was in Manchester, England, where she lived in a hostel with other Polish girls and attended an English school.
- An alternate spelling of her surname is Alexandrovich.
- Scope and Content
- File consists of a letter from Lola Alexandrowicz in Salford, England, to the Jewish Ostrovtzer Commitee. Lola asks the committee to send packages to her siblings, Edria and Yankel, in Lodz, Poland. She also mentions a boy named Alterman who came with the writer to England from Theresienstadt. Envelope is included. File also contains a typed translation.
