- Dr. Olergant was possibly from Ostrowiec, Poland. He was living in Paris in the mid-1940s. An alternate spelling of his surname is Holergant.
- A record exists for an Aron Olergant (b. 1903) who was incarcerated in Auschwitz in 1943.
- Scope and Content
- File consists of a letter from Dr. A. Olergant in Paris, France, to the Ostrovtzer Aid Society, dated 4 February 1946. Dr. Olergant expresses his gratitude for the package sent by the Ostrovtzer society. He discusses the challenges faced by many survivors in Europe, especially women and orphaned children. He also highlights the important of continued support from Jews in America. Envelope is included. File also contains a typed translation.
