Mollie and Rose are probably the daughters of a Myer Bochner (1878-1968?) who immigrated from Austria in 1900. He and his wife Mollie (or Malka) (b. 1881) lived at 90 Gordon Street in Guelph. They had five children: Thomas (b. 1900); Rosie (1904-1978); Henery (b. 1906); Minnie (or Mollie?) (b. 1908), and Bella (b.1910).
Rose Bochner married Charles Rotstein, who owned a furniture business on Queen Street. Her daughter married Kertzer. Her nephew was television actor Lloyd Bochner (1924-2005).

Scope and Content
Accession consists of five photographs, eight copy photographs, and four negatives which include group photographs of Elizabeth St. (Lizzies) sports teams. There is also a bar mitzvah postcard photo of the son of Mr. Ungarman from Opatow and a group photo of one man and eight women in front of a composite photo of the Ezras Noshem Society of Mount Sinai Hospital. As well, there are seventeen newspaper clippings about high school football, rugby, and basketball competitions, many including Lizzies teams.

Scope and Content
Accession consists of one black and white photograph of Charlotte Bochner ca. 1941. The photo appears to have been an official portrait, used when she served as Chairman of the Women's Division of the United Jewish Welfare Fund. The notes on the back of the photo are as follows: Charlotte Bochner, return to Toronto Jewish National Fund committee, 651 Spadina Ave.
Custodial History
The photograph was in the possession of Charlotte's Daughter Anne Bochner Stein.
Administrative History
Charlotte Bochner (1906-1979) was born in 1906 to Abraham and Annie (née Garofsky) Andrews. She married Maxwell Bochner (1900-1968) in Dec. 1928 and they had two children named Anne Constance and Joseph Harvey. Dr. Maxwell Bochner was born on October 8, 1900 to Charles and Ann (née Kurtz) Bochner.
Dr. Maxwell Bochner was an ophthalmologist and Chief of Staff and Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology for New Mount Sinai Hospital and Scarborough General Hospital. He was also Chief of the Eye Department for the Jewish Home for the Aged and Baycrest Hospital. He belonged to numerous medical associations, B'nai B'rith, the Primrose Club, Phi Delta Epsilon Fraternity, Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity and was a member of the Holy Blossom Temple. He founded the Bochner Eye Institute in 1929.
Charlotte served as chair of the Women's Division of the United Jewish Welfare Fund in 1941.

Rose Bochner (b. 1908?) is probably the daughter of a Myer Bochner (1878-1968?) who immigrated from Austria in 1900. He and his wife Mollie (or Malka) (b. 1881) lived at 90 Gordon Street in Guelph. They had five children: Thomas (b. 1900); Rosie (1904-1978); Henery (b. 1906); Minnie (or Mollie?) (b. 1908), and Bella (b.1910).
Rose Bochner married Charles Rotstein, who owned a furniture business on Queen Street. Her daughter married Kertzer. Her nephew was television actor Lloyd Bochner (1924-2005).

Dr. Bochner was born on October 8, 1900 to Ann and Charles Bochner. He married Charlotte Andrews and they had two children named Anne Constance and Joseph Harvey.
Dr. Bochner was an ophthalmologist and Chief of Staff and Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology for New Mount Sinai Hospital and Scarborough General Hospital. He was also Chief of the Eye Department for the Jewish Home for the Aged and Baycrest Hospital. He belonged to numerous medical associations, B'nai B'rith, the Primrose Club, Phi Delta Epsilon Fraternity, Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity and was a member of the Holy Blossom Temple.
