Scope and Content
Accession consists of the wedding invitation for the marriage of Sylvia Mehr and Arthur Warshavsky, as well as photocopies of original announcments of the marriage in the Jewish Standard and another unknown publication, and a copy of M. Mehr & Co. Limited letterhead. The company dealt in iron, steel and metals and was located at the foot of Bathurst St.
Administrative History
Sylvia Mehr was the daughter of Mandel Mehr. She married Arthur Warshavsky in 1932 at her parent's home at 126 Lauder Ave.

Sonia Brown was the wife of Peter Brown and the sister of Joseph Marin. Dr. Julius Levine was the husband of Mrs. Levine and a cousin of Joseph and Ben Marin.

Jacob and Anna (née Fogel) Singer immigrated to Toronto from Austria around 1873. He worked as a jeweler in the west end of Toronto. They had 13 children, all of whom were born in Canada. They included: Jennie (b. 1874), Moses (b. 1875), Solomon (b. 1877), Max (b. 1879), Isia (b. 1880), Helen (b. 1882), Alex (b. 1885), Aby (b. 1886), Isador (b. 1886), Freddy (b. 1889), Arthur (b. 1881), Fanny (b. 1896) and Abimalich (b. 1898).
